Carlos Vigil January 17, 2012 On The Court Sports has always been a name a way; from life, school, home, and even work. When I play sports I imbibe no problems, no worries, and no regrets. When I wander on my jersey, something comes over me, I feal invincible. You could say that the court is my sanctuary. A sanctuary, is a consecrated send off. To me the basketb on the whole crippled court is sacred and a place to get out-of-door from the madness. Basketb in all to me is a give away, a release from everything supreme and negative that may be going on in my life. Carlos Vigil, has a reputation for being a gentlemen, a student, and an athlete. He has high standards set for him on a cursory basis. From his dad, a Harvard grad, to his basketball coach for eight years. If Carlos slips, or stumbles, everyone leave empennage know about it. When I step on to the basketball court, with the ball in my hands, the abu ndance of pressure is put aside. I get to play the game that I love so much. With this game of basketball, I can play 24/7, without skipping a beat. When I practice with my team, my brothers, I can lean on them, and still be that leader whom they can lean on me as well.

When a basketball is in my hands or even on my mind, for that split second I am at my sanctuary. All the practice I put in, all the blood, the sweat, and the tears I put down for this game, it never lets me down. It go out always be my place of solitude, where I can stress better than any other place on this Earth. Everything I work for, and practrice f! or, installs me feal so enriched when my team pulls through and wins. When we win it gives me hope, it gives me coureage, to be able to step up to the plate, and be the man that I know I am. Thats how important this game is to me. It has that power to pull back me fel great, it has the power to make me feal invincible.
